Objective

The objective of the module is to provide the students with the basic knowledge of the remotely piloted aircraft technology that allow the students to operate safely in accordance with the rules of modern aviation.

Learning outcomes

The student having passed the Module:

  • Knows the principles of remotely piloted aircraft construction 
  • Understands the nature of air traffic management and working methods to the extent that enables to safely operate a remotely piloted aircraft
  • Plans a mission with a remotely piloted aircraft
  • Carries out an operation safely, taking into account aircraft and airspace constraints
